Here is the Lords of the Fallen Ammunition Collector trophy guide which will help you collect all ammo types of which there are 22. Ammo or ammunition are items you can equip to change the way your ranged attacks work so arrows, bolts and banners which allow you to stay back away from melee danger and essentially snipe your opponents from a distance. Given how effective the spells are, I personally don’t use any ranged attacks as they pale in comparison to the devastating spells but if you are going for a ranger build or prefer staying away from up close combat then you will need a variety of ammunition. The Ammunition you can find are broken down into 3 categories which are:
Finding them all will unlock Ammunition Collector so let’s get to it.
Arrows
Arrows can be used with Bows, there are 9 Arrow types to find throughout the game which are:
Pulsing Arrows
Location: Pilgrim’s Perch, Vestige of Chabui.
Go through the Chapel and defeat the Scourged Sister Delyth boss then head up and out to Pilgrim’s Perch. Climb the ladder then go into Umbral which spawns a slope you can go down. At the bottom of the slope you will be on a wooden platform where you can collect the Pulsing Arrows.
Oak Arrows
Location: Skyrest Bridge, Vestige of Ethryg.
The Oak Arrows will be the starting ammunition for the Blackfeather Ranger class. Alternatively, once you have freed Gerlinde which can be done by defeating the Knight before going down the elevator to the Gentle Gaverus, Mistress of Hounds boss in Pilgrim’s Perch then speaking to Gerlinde in her cell. You can then return to Skyrest Bridge and purchase the Oak Arrows.
Poison Arrows
Location: Forsaken Fen, Vestige of Valade.
Rest at the Vestige of Valade then go into Umbral, head forward then go right along the river bed to the end where you can collect the Poison Arrows.
Precision Arrows
Location: Forsaken Fen, Vestige of the Pale Butcher.
Follow the path through the Hamlet opposite the Vestige of Pale Butcher then stay right and go to the end of the walkway. Take a left then climb the ladder, go left then follow the pathway round to the first entrance which is barricaded. Smash through then collect the Precision Arrows from the inside of the shack.
Cinder Arrows
Location: Lower Calrath, Vestige of Sebastian.
Work through Lower Calrath to the point where you cross the Umbral platforms, go up round to the Infernal Enchantress then drop down to where you need to pull the bridge across and move the platform. There will be a Raw Mangler on your right who you should take down then drop off to the narrow roof below where you can collect the Cinder Arrows.
Wither Arrows
Location: Revelation Depths, Vestige of Catrin.
Head down through the Revelation Depths region which is a completely optional one which can be accessed by acquiring the Drainage Key from the Skinstealer boss then going back down to the sewers and pulling the lever behind the gate. Take the path down through the Revelation Depths to the point where the bridge is raised causing you to go through a tunnel. At the end of the tunnel you can go out pass the Ranger then kick the bridge down to make a clear path through the Depths. Go back into the tunnel and look straight ahead to find a small shrine which holds the Wither Arrows.
Frost Arrows
Location: Fief of the Chill Curse, Vestige of Svornil.
Head up and around the Fief of the Chill Curse from the Vestige of Svornil to the point where you open the portcullis then rest again if you took a beating before heading down the ravine and through the passage where the ice is pulled down on you. Continue through the region down through the ruins then climb the hill pass the Hounds and Ranger to the outskirts of the village where 2 Guardians will ambush you. Deal with them then go left around the wall in Umbral to find an Umbral ladder and drop down to the platform below where you can collect the Frost Arrows.
Radiant Arrows
Location: Manse of the Hallowed Brothers, Vestige of Brother Jeremiah.
Head through the Manse of the Hallowed Brothers to the point where you are back outside and going round to your right through the Avowed and Hounds where you will need to open a gate through to a Sin-Piercer and another Hound. There will be another gate you can open but before doing so go left out onto the small balcony and collect the Radiant Arrows.
Weighted Arrows
Location: Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters, Vestige of Rosamund.
Take out the Abbess Ursula boss then go up to the Vestige of Rosamund and through to the area where the Scourged Sister and Sin-Piercer enemies are found. Go up the stairs once everything is down then turn left and loot the Weighted Arrows from the chest.
Banners
Banners are a bit weird as they are technically thrown items, however, they fall under the Ammunition category so just imagine they’re in the Throwable Collector trophy guide if it makes you feel better and they can also offer buffs to allies if you’re playing co-op so for me I used them once to test them and haven’t gone back. If you want to unlock Ammunition Collector though we will need to find them. There are 5 Banners to acquire in Lords of the Fallen which are:
Banner Javelin Of Protection
Location: Lower Calrath, Vestige of Doln.
Head down through the Mining District from the Vestige of Doln then once you get to the tree with the Infernal Enchantress go to the back wall then up the stairs (not the stairs with the Ruiner) and phase through the bars with the Lamp. You can then go right and collect the Banner Javelin of Protection.
Enhanced Banner Javelin Of Protection
Location: Tower of Penance, Vestige of Brother Jeremiah.
Make your way down through the Tower of Penance to the last metal floor then collect the Enhanced Banner Javelin of Protection next to the lever you need to pull.
Enhanced Banner Javelin Of Assault
Location: The Empyrean, Vestige of Iorelo the Cursed Knight.
Go forward out into the Empyrean from the Vestige of Iorelo the Cursed Knight and take out the Abbess enemy before going left up the stairs to find the Enhanced Banner Javelin of Assault from behind the pillar and rubble.
Corrupted Banner Javelin
Location: Skyrest Bridge, Vestige of Ethryg.
You can purchase the Corrupted Banner Javelin from Molhu in Skyrest Bridge once you have defeated the Judge Cleric boss in the Empyrean and have activated her Stigma which can be found right in front of the beacon.
Banner Javelin Of Assault
Location: Upper Calrath, Vestige of Ethryg.
After acquiring the Rune of Adyr in the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters you can go back to Skyrest Bridge then up and out through Pieta’s arena where you can go through the double doors, up the stairs then down the ladder where you will be able to pick up the Banner Javelin of Assault from the floor.
Bolts
Arrows can be used with Crossbows, there are 8 Bolt types to find throughout the game which are:
Radiant Bolts
Location: Pilgrim’s Perch, Vestige of Blind Agatha.
Proceed down through the Pilgrim’s Perch region to the Umbral Entity you need to remove which then allows you to slide down the ladders to the section where Gerlinde will be in her cell. Above her cell will be a beam (go up the ladder then round to your left if you jumped down already) at the end of which will be the Radiant Bolts you can collect.
Rived Bolts
Location: Skyrest Bridge, Vestige of Ethryg.
The Rived Bolts will be the starting Ammunition if you choose the Partisan class. Alternatively, you can purchase the Rived Bolts from Gerlinde in Skyrest Bridge after you free her from her cell in Pilgrim’s Perch by killing the Knight then giving her the key at the same location where you acquired the Radiant Bolts.
Weighted Bolts
Location: Fitzroy’s Gorge, Vestige of the Pale Butcher.
Take out the Ruiner on the bridge then go down the slope and up to the upper level where a broken down carriage will be. Go behind the carriage and smash the crates at the end of the ledge to find the Weighted Bolts.
Cinder Bolts
Location: Lower Calrath, Vestige of Lydia the Numb Witch.
Make your way down to the street from the Vestige of Lydia the Numb Witch, avoid the mines then go left up the ramp to the end and make your way back along the rooftops using the narrow walkway to cross. Go left then left again through the building building you can take a right out of to collect the Cinder Bolts.
Basic Bolts
Location: Sunless Skein, Vestige of Antuli.
Work through the Mines to where you come back out near the start and open the portcullis with the lever which enables you to go through to the next section of the Mine, climb the ladder then go round and collect the Basic Bolts.
Wither Bolts
Location: Revelation Depths, Vestige of Catrin.
Head down into the Revelation Depths which you can do after acquiring the Drainage Control Key from the Skinstealer boss then going down into the sewers, open the gate with the key then pull the lever to lower the cages. Follow the main path down to the point where there will be an elevator either side of you then go down the stairs and back underneath the platform you were just on. Go to the far edge then look right, smash through the barrels and collect the Wither Bolts.
Twisted Bolts
Location: Manse of the Hallowed Brothers, Vestige of Brother Jeremiah.
Head through the Manse of the Hallowed Brothers from the Vestige of Brother Jeremiah using the Manse Kitchen Key to open the door then go into Umbral and follow the path round to where you drop down to the Sacred Tenacity enemy. Continue through the region going left up the stairs taking out the Knight and any other aggro’d enemies where you can then loot the Twisted Bolts from the table on the left side.
Explosive Bolts
Location: Bramis Castle, Vestige of the Forgotten Guardian.
Make your way up through Bramis Castle froom the Vesitge of the Forgotten Guardian crossing the tower, taking the elevator down then going up the stairs to the Trapper enemy. Before going up the next set of stairs to the Conflagrant Seer and the Vestige of the Bloody Pilgrim go left and smash through the wooden barricade where you will find the Explosive Bolts.
