Here is the Lords of the Fallen Antanas’ Legacy trophy guide which will help you work through Andreas of Ebb’s questline before putting him down once he ambushes you after doing what he says. This wannabe tough guy needs a kick in just for the disrespect and this quest will take you through to the penultimate region of the game. It will be difficult to fail Andreas’ questline as you can do the majority of the steps needed either post game or as you work through but you will need to speak to him at certain times of the game. As long as you follow these steps you won’t have any issues completing his quest, the difficulty comes in the boss fight as this guy is the second toughest boss in the game:
Speak To Andreas
Location: Skyrest Bridge, Vestige of Ethryg.
Once you’re done in Skyrest Bridge the first time you get there ensure you have activated the Vestige of Ethryg then head out taking the left path. Just before you get to the stairs you will find Andreas of Ebb standing on the left side of the path. Speak to him exhausting all of his dialogue.
Enter Forsaken Fen
Location: Forsaken Fen, Vestige of Valade.
Defeat the Congregator of Flesh boss then go through and rest at the Vestige of Valade.
Acquire The Fief Key
Location: Skyrest Bridge, Vestige of Ethryg.
Return to Skyrest Bridge then speak to Andreas who will now be just to the right of the Vestige where he will give you the Fief key which grants you access to the treacherous Fief of the Chill Curse.
Enter Fief Of The Chill Curse
Location: Abandoned Redcopse, Vestige of Marco the Axe.
The Fief of the Chill Curse is a nasty area that can be access by opening the gate to the right of the Vestige of Marco the Axe in the Abandoned Redcopse region, however, I don’t recommend going there until you are done in Sunless Skein and have defeated the Skinstealer and even then Unbroken Promise in Revelation Depths. You will need to defeat the Kinrangr Guardian boss which will be a lot easier in Axiom as in Umbral you will also need to take out a Mendacious Visage so roll through the water to the solid ground, remove the parasite then take out the Guardian and his mutt. You then need to work through the entire region to the Vestige of Loash.
Defeat Hollow Crow
Location: Fief of the Chill Curse, Vestige of Loash.
Enter the arena and put down the very tough Hollow Crow boss. Beckon Kukajin if you are going for the A Trace of Venom as well.
Visit Andreas
Location: Skyrest Bridge, Vestige of Loash.
Once the Hollow Crow boss has been defeated go down the passage opposite the Vestige of Ethryg in Skyrest Bridge then go into the left cell and speak to Andreas who will have been in a spot of bother.
Go To Upper Calrath
Location: Upper Calrath, Vestige of the Forgotten Guardian.
There are 2 main ways you can enter Upper Calrath, however, depending on the trophies you are going for you may not to want to go anywhere near the place until much later in the game as trophies like Moving On, Part of the Divine, The Last Step and A Queen’s Rest can mess up if you go there to early so you can either ride the elevator up or, once you’re done in the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters you can leave Skyrest Bridge, go up and through to the top left corner (beyond Pieta’s boss arena) and go through the doors which should now be open. If you have taken the elevator up instead in Sunless Skein then go through to the corner of Upper Calrath pass the Skinstealer (enemy, not boss) and drop down where you can then open the doors. Either way, you will need to gain access to the cylindrical tower at the bottom of the stairs.
Activate The Stigma
Location: Upper Calrath, Vestige of the Forgotten Guardian.
Now that you have access to the base of the stairs, go into Umbral the activate the Stigma to hear how Andreas lost his fight.
Collect The Andreas Of Ebb's Book Of Lineage
Location: Upper Calrath, Vestige of the Forgotten Guardian.
Having listened to the Stigma you will then acquire the Andreas of Ebb’s Book of Lineage.
Give Andreas The Book
Location: Skyrest Bridge, Vestige of Ethryg.
Return to Skyrest Bridge and give Andreas the Andreas of Ebb’s Book of Lineage.
Defeat Lightreaper
Location: Upper Calrath, Vestige of the Forgotten Guardian.
Progress through the story to where you can defeat the Lightreaper in the courtyard providing you have died to the Lightreaper the first 2 times you it ambushes you (Fitzroy’s Gorge and Fief of the Chill Curse). Again, Beckon Kukajin if you are going for A Trace of Venom.
Defeat Andreas
Location: Upper Calrath, Vestige of the Forgotten Guardian.
After the Lightreaper fight, make a Vestige with a Vestige Seed then rest as you will more than likely have taken a bit of a beating in the battle. You can then go forward out of the courtyard, where, in Axiom, Andreas of Ebb will be waiting to ambush you. Defeat him which will be easier if you use magic as his riposte attacks can cause a lot of issues.
Rewards
Location: Upper Calrath, Vestige of the Forgotten Guardian.
Once you have defeated Andreas of Ebb you will receive several rewards which are:
- Andreas of Ebb’s Sword.
- Andreas of Ebb’s Ring.
- Andreas of Ebb’s Book of Lineage.
- Andreas of Ebb’s Armour.
- Andreas of Ebb’s Sleeves.
- Andreas of Ebb’s Leggings.
- Vestige Seed.
- Unripe Berries.
You will also then unlock Antanas’ Legacy for your troubles.
