Here is the Lords of the Fallen Without Purpose trophy guide which will help you work through Thehk-Ihir’s questline which causes him to follow you around the World up to the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters which is an end game area full of tough enemies. Ensure you follow the steps below in order and speak to Thehk-Ihir before moving on to a new area for each given location to ensure the quest goes smoothly. As Thehk-Ihir is a Merchant he will have plenty to sell you and his inventory will evolve as you work through the game so ensure you check and purchase any items which tie into the various trophies. Thehk-Ihir can be found at the following locations so follow these steps to complete the Merchant’s questline:
- Speak in Skyrest Bridge.
- Speak in the Forsaken Fen outskirts.
- Speak in Forsaken Fen.
- Speak in Skyrest Bridge again.
- Speak in the Fief.
- Speak in Pilgrim’s Perch.
- Speak in the Manse.
- Speak in the Abbey.
- Purchase all items. Last chance.
- Kill the Judge Cleric.
- Failed Pilgrim’s Set.
Speak In Skyrest Bridge
Location: Skyrest Bridge, Vestige of Ethryg.
Leave Skyrest Bridge then speak to Thehk-Ihir after climbing the ladder but before dropping down to the wooden platforms.
Speak In Forsaken Fen Outskirts
Location: Forsaken Fen, Vestige of Olleren.
Rest at the Vestige of Olleren which you will find after taking out the Gentle Gaverus, Mistress of Hounds boss then speak to Thehk-Ihir before dropping down to the Congregator of Flesh boss.
Speak In Forsaken Fen
Location: Forsaken Fen, Vestige of the Pale Butcher.
Once you’ve taken out the Hushed Saint boss go down the hill and activate the Vestige of the Pale Butcher then speak to Thehk-Ihir who will be next to the Vestige.
Speak In Skyrest Bridge Again
Location: Skyrest Bridge, Vestige of Ethryg.
Return to Skyrest Bridge then speak to Thehk-Ihir who will be opposite the Vestige. If he isn’t there then take down the Ruiner boss and lose to the Lightreaper in Fitzroy’s Gorge then go back tom Skyrest and Thehk-Ihir will have appeared.
Speak In The Fief
Location: Fief of the Chill Curse, Vestige of Loash.
Thehk-Ihir will be to the right of the Vestige of Loash before going through and taking on the Hollow Crow boss. Ensure you exhaust all dialogue.
Speak In Pilgrim's Perch
Location: Pilgrim’s Perch, Vestige of Dieter.
The Vestige of Dieter is one which can be found by collecting the Pilgrim’s Perch Key which you can do by either purchasing it from Stomund for 18,000 Vigor or progressing the story far enough then using the key to unlock the door to the left of the Vestige of Blind Agatha. Go through the path to the passage where the Hound are the Knight are, take them down then go right up the stairs until you’re outside where you can take a left to the Vestige of Dieter. Thehk-Ihir will be standing at the end of the path to the left of the Vestige.
Speak In The Manse
Location: Manse of the Hallowed Brothers, Vestige of Brother Jeremiah.
Head up to the Manse of the Hallowed Brothers, rest at the Vestige of Brother Jeremiah which is opposite the door you can open with the Manse Kitchen Key you acquire by defeating the Holy Bulwark Knight pacing around. Thehk-Ihir will be on the platform directly behind the Vestige.
Speak In The Abbey
Location: Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters, Vestige of Rosamund.
Rest at the Vestige of Rosamund which you can find by going up the stairs after taking out the Abbess Ursula boss then speak to Thehk-Ihir which will be the last time you can speak to the Merchant.
Purchase All Items
Location: Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters, Vestige of Rosamund.
Thehk-Ihir has a plethora of items for sale by the time you get to the Abbey so ensure you purchase everything he has available before collecting the Rune of Adyr at the back of the Abbey.
Kill The Judge Cleric
Location: The Empyrean, Vestige of Iorelo the Cursed Knight.
Go through the Empyrean and defeat the Judge Cleric bosses which will be a back to back boss fight. This is also where you will unlock Without Purpose.
Failed Pilgrim's Set
Location: The Empyrean, Vestige of Iorelo the Cursed Knight.
You won’t need to do this having already unlocked Without Purpose but if you want to go for Ironclad you will need to collect the Failed Pilgrim’s Set. You can do so by going back up through the tower in the Empyrean then go through the main room and to the edge of the drop where you can find the Failed Pilgrim’s Set which contains:
- Failed Pilgrim’s Hood.
- Failed Pilgrim’s Garb.
- Failed Pilgrim’s Gloves.
- Failed Pilgrim’s Leggings.
