Lords Of The Fallen Trophy Guide

Welcome to the Lords of the Fallen trophy guide which will help you navigate through Mournstead in one of the largest Soulslikes on the market, this game will require 3 playthroughs minimum and has in excess of 1,000 collectibles for you to find. We have covered everything you need to help you through your journey. Pick one of the Classes then jump in to an amazingly complex experience.

  • Platforms: PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PC.
  • Trophies: 63: Platinum: 1, Silver: 7, Bronze: 55.
  • Achievements: 63: 1,000 G.
  • Release Date: 23rd October 2023.
  • Developer: Hexworks.
  • Publisher: CI Games.
  • Missable: Technically none as you can play through the game as many times as you need to, as long as you complete the game at least once you should then start New Game+0 which isn’t something I have seen before, it essentially allows your end game character to plough through the game. You can do this as many as times as you need to simply by using the menu at any Vestige, you will lose all of your current progress for the main story, NPC quests and any other playthrough specific parameter. You will, however, keep any inventory gear, spells and any consumable which isn’t playthrough specific.
  • Glitched: Nothing yet.
  • Online: 7: Comrades, Shared Triumph, Vengeance for the Fallen, No Mercy, Infernal Offerings, Radiant Offerings, Umbral Offerings
  • Difficulty Rating: 6/10.
  • Approx. time to 100%: 100+ Hours with the guide, good luck without it.

From the start of the game choose any class you like the look of with the Hallowed Knight being the easy choice for Beginners, the Dark Crusader (Deluxe Edition exclusive) being the most powerful or a Mage class you like the look of then begin to work through to Skyrest Bridge learning how Axiom and Umbral realms work. There won’t be any missable components here as you can come back later to collect anything so for now focus on learning how the game works especially the combat then once you enter Skyrest Bridge you should make sure you have unlocked the following trophies along the way as well as working towards unlocking:

Now that you are in Skyrest Bridge there are many different NPCs you need to speak with which then begins each of their questlines and will require you to fulfil specific requirements for each one of them in order to unlock their respective trophies so you won’t actually be unlocking the following trophies, we’ll get to that later but you need to begin work on the following trophies before you leave Skyrest Bridge:

You will also, once you have gone down the stairs and up the ladder need to speak with one more NPC, Thehk-Ihir who will be overlooking Mournstead before you drop down. Again, you won’t actually unlock this trophy but you need to speak to the Thehk-ihir to begin working towards:

Now there will be plenty to do along the way but as none of it will be missable and can be found on the main path whilst ensuring you follow the guides linked into the listed trophies you will be able to unlock or start work towards unlocking the following trophies on your way to the Vestige of Valade in the Forsaken Fen region:

As you go through Forsaken Fen to the end of Fitzroy’s Gorge you need to be unlocking or working towards these trophies just ensure after the Hushed Saint boss you leave the Beacon alone for now. We will decide on what to do with that later in the roadmap and in case you’re curious, the Beacon is the massive energy beam going up to the sky in the Hushed Saints Arena:

As long as you follow the steps in the guides listed out you won’t have anything to else to worry about until you are at the end of Lower Calrath where you can go to the end of the ash covered village and open the door which then leads down to the Sunless Skein region where you will unlock the following trophy along the way as well as needing to make progress towards unlocking:

  • Unwanted.
  • Hero Worship. (Speak to Drustan before leaving the Vestige of Lydia the Numb Witch tavern).

When you’re down in Sunless Skein there will be a lot to do but one of the more important elements is to ensure you do NOT ride the elevator up after defeating the Skinstealer boss as it will cause Byron to kill Winterberry if you haven’t fulfilled the requirements beforehand so be careful. Instead, get the Drainage Key then head down into Revelation Depths which you won’t need to go into for the first 2 endings but the rewards and gear you can find are very useful so get down there and take out the boss working towards or unlocking the following along the way:

Once you’re done in the Revelation Depths region ensure you return to Skyrest Bridge and buy the Pilgrim’s Perch Key from Stomund for 18,000 Vigor. It’s a hefty cost but the key allows you to get through some of the best areas for farming and gear. Then once you have that, collect the Fief Key from Andreas of Ebb who seems to move when he feels like it rather than at a specific point in the game which will be to the right of the Vestige of Ethryg. It’s now time to go through one of the most treacherous regions in the game, the Fief of the Chill Curse where some of the best gear can be found as well as 3 bosses. You will unlock the following trophies throughout the frozen wasteland:

You should now think about travelling up through the Pilgrim’s Perch region to the Manse of the Hallowed Brothers which can be fairly perilous if you’re under prepared so spend some time levelling up then activate the Vestige of Brother Jeremiah speaking to Thehk-Ihir before you leave and go through to the Tower of Penance which is a very nasty place. Clear the Tower working towards or unlocking the following trophies by the time you reach the Beacon at the top of the Tower which we will get to next:

Once you’re done in the Manse and the Tower you can now work through the Abbey of Hallowed Sisters and the Empyrean where you will collect the Rune of Adyr along the way. As you are on your first playthrough you will need this later but for now focus on surviving through the Abbey, the Empyrean then head back to Skyrest Bridge afterwards ensuring you unlock the following trophies along the way:

Once the Empyrean has concluded and you have the Rune of Adyr you can now work through Upper Calrath by going up through Skyrest Bridge, out of Pieta’s arena then through the now open double doors in the top left corner behind the enemies, take the ladder down. In Upper Calrath you can unlock the following trophies:

With your business concluded in Upper Calrath you can now go through to Bramis Castle, the final region in the main game and unlock the following trophies:

You will now be in the post game. You will have the opportunity to begin new game+, however, ignore that for now as we have plenty to do in the post game and you can go into New Game+0 at any point on the Vestige Menu. Work towards unlocking these trophies:

When you start New Game+0 I recommend going through and working towards unlocking the Adyr Ending which will get you the following trophies along the way:

You also need to focus on getting Co-Op done so ensure you work towards unlocking the following trophies now you’ll be more than powerful to do so:

With that done and Iselle’s gear obtained you can now work through your third playthrough where you need to be focusing on unlocking these trophies:

With your third playthrough done you can now mop up the rest of the game’s collectibles and trophies which will get you:

With all the above done you will then finally unlock:

Being a Weapon Collector in Lords of the Fallen is a full time job in its own right as there are 15 categories of weapon to collect and in those 15 categories there are 181 weapons to collect, if you want them all it will take you through to the end game and given the fact there are several weapons which are RNG drop from enemies you may well be searching for them for a long time before you’re successful. Oh and certain weapons are locked behind decisions you make in the game so make a mistake and you’ll add another playthrough on then hope you don’t make the same mistake twice. Finding every unique armour piece in Lords of the Fallen is more extreme than any other game I have come across in my 32 years as a gamer, never mind just in a soulslike. Refer to the Ironclad trophy guide for information on where all every armour piece can be found then once you do have them all you will unlock Ironclad.

Ensure you check both the Throwable Collector trophy guide and the Ammunition Collector trophy guide to ensure you don’t miss any throwable or ammunition as you work through the game. Lords of the Fallen Salvation in Blood trophy

Fully upgrade the Sanguinarix.

The Sanguinarix is how you heal in Lords of the Fallen and upgrading the Sanguinarix will give you greater healing and more uses before it is depleted and to be upgraded you will need to find Saintly Quintessence throughout the game of which there are 20. Return the Saintly Quintessence to Pieta at Skyrest Bridge where you can then upgrade the Sanguinarix. Refer to the Salvation in Blood trophy guide for details on where all 20 Saintly Quintessence can be found and subsequently used. Fully upgrade the Sanguinarix to unlock Salvation in Blood.

Lords of the Fallen Honed to Perfection trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

20 G

Honed to Perfection
Fully upgrade a weapon.

To upgrade a weapon you will firstly need to free Gerlinde from her cell in the lower section of Pilgrim’s Perch by defeating the Knight and collecting the Cell Key before going down to the Gentle Gaverus, Mistress of Hounds boss fight which then sees Gerlinde go to Skyrest Bridge. Speak to her and select the Upgrade Equipment option with upgrades requiring Deralium in various forms which are:

  • Level 1:
    x2 Small Deralium Fragments.
    x500 Vigor.
  • Level 2:
    x4 Small Deralium Fragments.
    x750 Vigor.
  • Level 3:
    x1 Regular Deralium Fragment.
    x1,000 Vigor.
  • Level 4:
    x2 Regular Deralium Fragments.
    x1,500 Vigor.
  • Level 5:
    x4 Regular Deralium Fragments.
    x2,000 Vigor.
  • Level 6:
    x2 Large Deralium Fragments.
    x2,500 Vigor.
  • Level 7:
    x4 Large Deralium Fragments.
    x3,500 Vigor.
  • Level 8:
    x6 Large Deralium Fragments.
    x4,500 Vigor.
  • Level 9:
    x8 large Deralium Fragments.
    x5,500 Vigor.
  • Level 10:
    x1 Deralium Chunk.
    x7,500 Vigor.

Small and Regular Deralium Chunks can be found throughout the early and mid game as well as purchased from Gerlinde then in the end game which would be Manse of the Hallowed Brothers to the end of Bramis Castle, larger enemies can drop Large Deralium Shards. As for the Deralium Chunks there are only a handful in each playthrough with the easiest being found in the chest next to the beacon in the Fief of the Chill Curse. You should be levelling up the weapons as you go and as long as you focus on levelling 1 weapon rather than multiple to conserve your resources then once your weapon hits level 10 you will unlock Honed to Perfection.

Lords of the Fallen Rune Novice trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

5 G

Rune Novice
Place a rune in a socket for the first time.

Before you can socket runes you will firstly need to have freed Gerlinde from her cell at the base of the Pilgrim’s Perch region from the Vestige of Blind Agatha so she is the relocated to Skyrest Bridge as well as having acquired the Cracked Rune Tablet which you can find in Fitzroy’s Gorge by following the path right into the caverns, phasing into Umbral then staying right after crossing the bridge. This brings you to an NPC called Dustan who you can speak with as well as placing a Vestige Seed on the Umbral Flowerbed here as it makes the Ruiner boss fight much easier to get back to should you die. Just before dropping down to where the Hounds are you can collect the Cracked Rune Tablet.

Return to Skyrest Bridge when you’re ready and hand Gerlinde the Cracked Rune Tablet which then allows you to socket Runes providing you have some and if not, 4 Runes become available to purchase upon handing the Tablet over so grab one then choose the Socket Runes option. Only weapons which have been upgraded can have Runes placed in them and the Rune will need to match the shape of the slot on the weapon for example Pieta’s Sword can only have a diamond shaped rune inserted. Insert any Rune into any available weapon to not only gain some nice boosts but also unlock Rune Novice.

Lords of the Fallen Rune Master trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

10 G

Rune Master
Fully socket a 3-rune weapon or shield.

Before you can unlock 3 sockets on a weapon or shield you will firstly need to fully upgrade one so choose a powerful weapon such as Pieta’s Sword then refer to Honed to Perfection then once you have a maxed out weapon ensure you have handed the 3 Rune Tablets to Gerlinde (or Sparky if you want to unlock Travels Resumed) this then allows you to find and socket runes.

Runes have certain shapes and 1 particularly shaped Rune needs to go in its relevant slot so a Star Rune won’t fit in a Diamond Rune slot so keep farming Runes by killing enemies and place a corresponding Rune in each of the 3 slots focusing on abilities which will help your playstyle then once a weapon or shield has 3 Runes placed inside of it you will unlock Rune Master.

Lords of the Fallen Carving Out Victory trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

20 G

Carving Out Victory
Fully upgrade the Umbral lamp.

In order to upgrade the Umpbral Lamp you will need to find 3 Antediluvian Chisels which you then use with Molhu in Skyrest Bridge to upgrade the lamp. Refer to the Carving Out Victory trophy guide for how to find the 3 Antediluvian Chisels then upgrade the Umbral Lamp which will then unlock Carving Out Victory.

Lords of the Fallen Utmost Insight trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

10 G

Utmost Insight
Fully socket the Umbral lamp with Umbral Eyes.

Before you can unlock Utmost Insight you will firstly need to have fully upgraded the Lamp which essentially creates more Eye Sockets so refer to Carving Out Victory for how to do that. You then need to find some Umbral Eyes so refer to What Sights Contained Within for how to find the Umbral Eyes which you can then place into the Umbral Lamp by speaking to Molhu. Once your Umbral Lamp is fully socketed with Umbral Eyes you will then unlock Utmost Insight.

Lords of the Fallen Comrades trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

10 G

Comrades
Beckon a co-op partner.

You can beckon a co-op partner which is essentially asking another player online for help. You will firstly need to go to a Vestige and choose Log-In from the options then Multiplayer and finally Bekon partner. Once you have successfully matched with someone which is a lot easier considering this game is cross play and either you enter their game or they join yours you will unlock Comrades.

Lords of the Fallen Shared Triumph trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Shared Triumph
Defeat a boss alongside a co-op partner.

Firstly, follow the steps in Comrades then go through any biome and take on a boss you haven’t defeated yet. You can also go to a Vestige and choose Echoes of Battle then replay any boss fight. Either way, take down a boss with a co-op partner to unlock Shared Triumph.

Lords of the Fallen Vengeance for the Fallen trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Vengeance for the Fallen
Avenge a fallen lampbearer.

Ensure you are logged in which you can do by going: Vestige> Log In then work through various biomes until you see a small orange cross you can interact with which then creates an orange trail of butterflies through to a given enemy who has previously killed another player whilst you have both been online. The enemy will have the name of the player above their health bar and usually be a lot more challenging than the regular type of enemy you would usually face. Defeat the named enemy to successfully avenge the fallen Lampbearer which then unlocks Vengeance for the Fallen as well as reward you with 3 Plucked Eyeballs which counts towards Umbral Offerings.

Lords of the Fallen No Mercy trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

No Mercy
Defeat another player in PVP.

There are several ways of encountering another player in Lords of the Fallen who will be hostile, you can either be invaded (refer to Infernal Offerings) or be the invader which you can do by going: Vestige> Log In> Multiplayer> Slaughter Lampbearer. You might be lucky and get a low level player who you can defeat easily or you might be not so lucky and get an end game player who slays you in 1-2 hits. Either way once you have defeated another player in PVP you will unlock No Mercy.

Lords of the Fallen Infernal Offerings trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

5 G

Infernal Offerings
Donate a total of 10 Severed Hands.

Severed Hands are acquired by defeating people who invade your game which is referred to as the Crimson Ritual in game. Continue playing through the game with an online connection where you will be invaded at some point then ensure you put the Invader down. For me I received 4 Severed Hands then 8 severed hands but the amounts of Severed Hands you receive is random probably based on your opponents level. Keep defeating invaders until you have at least 10 Severed Hands then go tot he Fitzroy’s Gorge biome, defeat the Ruiner boss, phase into Umbral then drop down to your right off the bridge and follow the path and and through to a cavern where Adyr’s Shrine can be found. Interact with the shrine then purchase any item for 10 or more Severed Hands to unlock Infernal Offerings.

Lords of the Fallen Radiant Offerings trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

5 G

Radiant Offerings
Donate a total of 10 Pilfered Coins.

Pilfered Coins are a strange currency in Lords of the Fallen as they seem to be obtained randomly either by defeating strong enemies in the mid-late game, helping other Lampbearers or by invading and defeating other Lampbearers so if you find a definitive way of finding and or farming Pilfered Coins, let me know in the comments below then once you have managed to find 10 Pilfered Coins go to the shrine down the stairs and at the end of the hall from the Vestige in Skyrest Bridge which will be the Shrine of Orius which you can interact with as long as you are online to trade using Pilfered Coins. Trade a total of 10 or more Pilfered Coins to unlock Radiant Offerings.

Lords of the Fallen Umbral Offerings trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

5 G

Umbral Offerings
Donate a total of 10 Plucked Eyeballs.

Plucked Eyeballs are acquired by avenging Lampbearers so ensure you are online then follow the steps in Vengeance for the Fallen to avenge a Lampbearer. Return to Skyrest Bridge once you have 10 Plucked Eyeballs, phase into Umbral, run up the stairs passing Molhu then interact with the Shrine of the Putrid Mother. Choose any item which costs 10 Plucked Eyeballs or more if you have the resources to unlock Umbral Offerings.

Lords of the Fallen Shades of Violence trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

10 G

Shades of Violence
Apply a tinct to a piece of gear.

Tincts can be collected throughout the game and they essentially change the colour of your armour a bit. The first Tinct you can find is right near the start of the game by dropping down into the pit after going up the stairs having dealt with the 2 enemies then collecting the Forsworn Tinct from the floor. You can then apply Tinct by going: Menu> Tincts then choosing any Tinct you have available, once selected you will unlock Shades of Violence.

Lords of the Fallen Rise and Fall trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Rise and Fall
Defeat Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal.

Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal is the first proper boss you will face in Lords of the Fallen and she can be a pain to deal with so spend some time in Abandoned Redcopse levelling up and learning how your class performs in combat. Having a shield can be a big help but if you don’t have one ensure you have the Mineowners Ring to improve your Stamina regen then focus on avoiding her attacks whilst countering then learn her patterns. She has a nasty grab and a very painful sword attack which fills one third of the arena per use which must be avoided if you want to survive. This is a fight that will determine if a game like Lords of the Fallen is for you. Once Pieta is defeated you will unlock Rise and Fall as well as have access to the very important, Skyrest Bridge biome.

Lords of the Fallen Together in Death trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Together in Death
Defeat the Congregator of Flesh.

The Congregator of Flesh is a boss who you will fight after Gentle Gaverus, Mistress of Hounds in the depths of Pilgrim’s Perch and as there is no Vestige between the Mistress and the Congregator, go back and rest using the elevator to make things easier to get back to the Vestige of Blind Agatha. When you’re ready go through the tunnel and drop down into the pit where the Congregator will awaken and attack you with slams, swipes and lunging attacks most of which are telegraphed and hit hard if you’re caught out. Use fire if you have it then keep away from the arm whilst being as aggressive as you can. Trading blows with this abomination isn’t advised so use your speed against the boss’s slow moving nature to take the win which then unlocks Together in Death.

Lords of the Fallen Burying the Past trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Burying the Past
Defeat the Hushed Saint.

The Hushed Saint boss will be found at the end of the Forsaken Fen and it can be a pain as the Horse can one shot you at this early point in the game and the Saint will come at you with heavy AOE attacks, slams with the spear and overall be a pain to dela with. When he’s charging around just focus on dodging until he’s on foot then get in there and punish. With the Hushed Saint down you will unlock Burying the Past.

Lords of the Fallen Unwanted trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Unwanted
Defeat the Spurned Progeny.

The Spurned Progeny boss will be found at the end of Lower Calrath and is one who will be a lot easier if you bring some ranged weaponry with you be it spells, a bow or a crossbow. At the start of the fight inflict as much damage as you can on his legs then run up one of the sets of the stairs around the arena when he fills the arena with lava. Stay off the open areas and use the broken sections of wall for cover against the spells especially the nova. Strafe when the fire plumes start forming behind you and use either Manastone Clusters or Ammunition Pouches to resupply. Once the Spurned Progeny boss is down you will unlock Unwanted.

Lords of the Fallen Unbroken to the End trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Unbroken to the End
Defeat the Unbroken Promise.

The Unbroken Promise is a boss who can be found at the bottom of Revelation Depths, a hidden area you can find by going left down through the caverns from the SkinStealer boss fight and a place you should go to before you ride the elevator up to Upper Calrath. Head all the way down through the Revelation Depths and enter the arena. Take down the Harrower Dervla, The Pledged Knight boss which then leads straight in to the Unbroken Promise boss fight so conserve your resources and avoid her Magic attacks then defeat the Unbroken Promise which unlocks Unbroken to the End.

Lords of the Fallen Wings of Grief trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Wings of Grief
Defeat the Hollow Crow.

The Hollow Crow is a very tough, dangerous boss who utilises powerful Ice Magic and one who can only be damaged by you attacking the memory of his daughter which is a lot easier if you are in Umbral, as a consequence though you will be facing a lot of enemies so bring a powerful weapon such as Pieta’s sword with as many upgrades as you can get on it as well as Runes and Holy damage to help you survive longer. Work your way through the Fief of the Chill Curse region which is perilous to the Vestige of Loash, rest the go in and put the Hollow Crow down in Umbral which unlocks Wings of Grief.

Lords of the Fallen Twin Faces of Sin trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Twin Faces of Sin
Defeat Reinhold the Immured.

Reinhold the Immured can be fought at the bottom of the perilous Tower of Penance biome accessed at the back of Manse of the Hallowed Brothers and it can be challenging as directly before Reinhold spawns in you will need to also fight and defeat the Tancred, Master of Castigations boss so conserve your resources in the first fight as Reinhold can smack very hard, ranged builds will have an easier time of things here but as a melee, get behind him then ensure you avoid the multi angled slashes and strikes then with both Tancred, Master of Castigations and Reinhold the Immured defeated you will unlock Twin Faces of Sin.

Lords of the Fallen Judgement trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Judgement
Defeat Judge Cleric, the Radiant Sentinel.

Judge Cleric, the Radiant Sentinel is a very challenging 2 phase boss who you will fight at the back of the Empyrean and one which will see you initially fight  the Radiant version of the Judge Cleric then the Corrupted version. Ensure you have completed Stomund’s questline (refer to Faithful for more information) before you open the Cathedral gate in the Empyrean then go through and avoid the spells and attacks until you put both versions of Judge Cleric down which then unlocks, Judgement.

Lords of the Fallen Hunt's End trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

20 G

Hunt’s End
Defeat the Lightreaper.

The Lightreaper is a pain in the ass who will ambush you 2-3 times depending on the version of the game you’re playing as he tries to take the Lamp from you. Don’t worry, regardless how many times he kills you the lamp is bound to you and only you throughout the game. If you are playing the game with the latest patches then you will initially meet the Lightreaper in Fitzroy’s Gorge after the Ruiner fight, in the Fief of the Chill Curse after the Hollow Crow boss fight then again properly in the courtyard of Upper Calrath where you need to put him down.

The first 2 times just die to him as it’s highly unlikely you will be powerful enough to put him down anyway and it will negatively impact the ending you go for if you defeat him before Upper Calrath. If you are playing a much odler version of Lords of the Fallen then he will ambush you in Abandoned Redcopse as soon as you defeat the first boss, Holy Bulwark Otto but they have since removed this encounter. Put the Lightreaper down in Upper Calrath avoiding the energy waves, slams, Dragon attacks and multi hitting combos (bring a shield) to unlock Hunt’s End.

Lords of the Fallen The King is Dead trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

The King is Dead
Defeat the Sundered Monarch.

The Sundered Monarch will be the penultimate boss of the game and one who you face in Bramis Castle. Ensure you have completed the steps for A Queen’s Rest before going through to the boss arena otherwise you will fail that questline and the Sundered Monarch can be a troublesome fight but only really for melee players. Sorcery plays a big part in doing well against the Monarch even though he’s got a high magic defence getting up close can see you peppered with attacks, spikes, slammed with the bell and overall having a fairly bad time of things. Stay at a distance where you should be able to avoid the majority of attacks whilst returning your own to bring the Sundered Monarch down unlocking The King is Dead as he fades to dust.

Lords of the Fallen A Hunger Sated trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

20 G

A Hunger Sated
Defeat Elianne the Starved.

Elianne the Starved is easily the toughest boss in the base game and one who can be found in Revelation Depths when you’re working towards unlocking the Umbral Ending. Refer to Back to the Void for full details on how to unlock the Elianne boss fight then ensure you are very powerful before attempting the fight as this girl can smack turning the arena into more of a bullet hell than a Soulslike. Defeat Elianne the Starved to unlock A Hunger Sated.

Lords of the Fallen Fallen trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

15 G

Fallen
Defeat Adyr, the Bereft Exile.

Adyr, the Bereft Exile is the final boss of the game and a let down at that. You won’t actually fight Adyr, instead you will run around killing his minions whilst avoiding their fireball attacks. What was set to be the culmination of hours of hard work is left to finalise itself with a speech from the fallen God, Adyr whilst you end playing a game of whack-a-twat. Big let down this fight but once it’s done you will then unlock Fallen.

The value of Andreas of Ebb’s friendship is made clear.

Andreas of Ebb is an arrogant NPC and one who works in the shadows to try and defeat you in order to gain immortality by trying to steal your Umbral Lamp, completing his questline will see you needing to ultimately defeat him and he is one of the toughest bosses in the game if you’re a melee player so I would recommend leaving the fight and the second half of the questline until after you have finished the main game. Stomund is an NPC you can find near the start of the game in Skyrest Bridge and you will have some specific steps to follow in order to complete his questline most of which won’t happen until the end game. Just ensure you have followed the steps in the Faithful trophy guide before moving on from the Vestige of Rosamund in the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters and especially do NOT ride the elevator up to the Empyrean otherwise his quest will fail. Once you have successfully completed Stomund’s questline you will then unlock Faithful.

PlayStation Bronze Trophy

10 G

A Queen’s Rest
Sophesia bestows a final favour.

Queen Sophesia is an NPC who is locked away in the Crypt of Skyrest Bridge and one who is now known as the Tortured Prisoner for losing her child by the now mad King and it is very easy to fail her questline by simply entering the Sundered Monarch boss arena. So once you have gone through the Kings bedroom in Bramis Castle ensure you have followed the steps from the first time you enter Skyrest Bridge up to that point in the story by referring to the A Queen’s Rest trophy guide. Lords of the Fallen Lord of the Risen trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

15 G

Lord of the Risen
Reach the Adyr ending.

The Adyr ending is one I recommend going for on your second playthrough and to achieve it you need to not cleanse any of the 5 Beacons, collect the Rune of Adyr from the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters then proceed through Bramis Castle and defeat the Sundered Monarch who then becomes the final boss. With the Beacons still active, interact with the chrysalis above the arena and empower the Rune of Adyr which you then need to take to and use on each of the 5 Beacons in the game which are of course:

  1. Forsaken Fen.
  2. Fief of the Chill Curse.
  3. Tower of Penance.
  4. Upper Calrath.
  5. The Empyrean.

Ensure you use Empower the Beacons in that order then interact with the wounded Judge Cleric in front of the Beacon at the Empyrean and use the Rune of Adyr on her which then takes you to Iselle. Go through the cutscenes to trigger the Adyr Ending which then unlocks Lord of the Risen.

Lords of the Fallen In Light we Walk trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

15 G

In Light we Walk
Reach the Radiant ending.

The Radiant Ending is the one you should be going for on your first playthrough and it requires you to cleanse all 5 Beacons which I recommend doing after you reach the Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters. It won’t change anything if you do it before or after this point just ensure you have cleansed the Beacons before riding the elevator up the Empyrean. From there go through Bramis Castle and defeat the Sundered Monarch boss where you can then interact with the Chrysalis and go through to defeat Adyr, the Bereft Exile which then triggers the Radiant ending unlocking In Light we Walk.

Lords of the Fallen Back to the Void trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

15 G

Back to the Void
Reach the Umbral ending.

The Umbral ending is one I recommend going for on your third playthrough and will see you needing to follow some specific steps which will take you through to the post game once you have defeated the Sundered Monarch. Please ensure you read the guide fully before attempting this one as if you make one mistake it will lock you out of the ending, the most important part is to NOT use the Rune of Adyr to open the gate to Bramis Castle until you have strengthened your bond with the Putrid Mother. Refer to the Back to the Void trophy guide for information on how to complete every step required to unlock the Umbral Ending as well as Back to the Void.

Lords of the Fallen A Shadow Dispelled trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

10 G

A Shadow Dispelled
Defeat the Scarlet Shadow.

Defeating the Scarlet Shadow requires you to be in Umbral to the point where the 3 nodes fill and the eye turns red. This causes the Scarlet Shadow to spawn and hunt you down with the time this takes being determined by how high your dread resistance is. The Scarlet Shadow is a very powerful, boss level Wraith who blocks the use of the Sanguinarix when above ground and is completely immune to damage when underground so you have to play a game of cat and mouse. You will need to be in the mid-late game to stand a chance of bringing the Scarlet Shadow down as in the early game it will one shot you with ease and this will also be a lot easier if you are in co-op where your teammate can take some of the flank just ensure it’s you who gets the kill which will then unlock A Shadow Dispelled.

Lords of the Fallen Essence of Death trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

5 G

Essence of Death
Defeat an enemy with an Umbral finisher.

An Umbral Finisher requires a specific combination as well as a good amount of luck. Firstly, acquire any weapon with Wither damage or get the Umbral Weapon Spell so you can imbue your weapon with Umbral Magic. You then need to hurt an enemy to the point their stamina is depleted and they are staggered. You then need to press R1 / RB to inflict a Finisher. As long as you have a Wither or Umbral weapon and it’s the elemental damage from that weapon which kills the enemy you will successfully do an Umbral Finisher unlocking Essence of Death. It can take a good few attempts to get this right and even more attempts for the game to count it as the required damage has finished the enemy off so persevere and it will unlock soon enough.

Lords of the Fallen Thriving in Darkness trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

5 G

Thriving in Darkness
Use a Vestige Seed.

You can receive your first Vestige Seed in the courtyard before going up and through to the Pieta, She of Blessed Renewal and to use one you need to find an Umbral Flowerbed then when you see a glowing white/blue section you can then press Triangle / Y to lay the Vestige Seed which then acts as a mini checkpoint you will respawn at upon death making it useful in precarious areas. You will be using a good amount of Vestige Seeds throughout your playthrough but the first time you use one will unlock Thriving in Darkness.

PlayStation Silver Trophy

20 G

Seasoned
Reach Level 100.

Levelling is virtually essential in Lords of the Fallen as it allows you to increase any stats you feel like you need to be stronger in and reaching level 100 will make the game easier, keep playing through the game until you reach level 100 which will unlock Seasoned.

Lords of the Fallen Wayfarer trophy
PlayStation Silver Trophy

50 G

Wayfarer
Visit all of the areas in the game.

There are many areas in Lords of Fallen and to see them all you will need to go through to the final area, Bramis Castle having made certain decisions along the way. Fortunately, the ending you are going for won’t matter as you need to visit all of these areas in one form or another and it’s strongly recommended you go to each one as the loot found within can help you considerably. Mother’s Lul is somewhere I don’t recommend visiting until you are working towards the Umbral Ending (refer to Back to the Void) as it’s a useless area until that point and depending on the choices you have already made you more than likely won’t be able to do anything until your next playthrough anyway. Essentially, a new area is determined by having the name of the region appear on screen when you enter so they are:

  1. Defiled Sepulchre.
  2. Abandoned Redcopse.
  3. Skyrest Bridge.
  4. Pilgrim’s Perch.
  5. Forsaken Fen.
  6. Fitzroy’s Gorge.
  7. Lower Calrath.
  8. Sunless Skein.
  9. Revelation Depths.
  10. Upper Calrath.
  11. Fief of the Chill Curse.
  12. Manse of the Hallowed Brothers.
  13. Abbey of the Hallowed Sisters.
  14. The Empyrean.
  15. Bramis Castle.
  16. Mother’s Lul.

Once you have visited every location listed above which you will do as you work towards unlocking Lord of the Fallen, you will then unlock Wayfarer.

Lords of the Fallen A Trace of Venom trophy
PlayStation Bronze Trophy

10 G

A Trace of Venom
Kukajin concludes her business in Mournstead.

This NPC questline is a highly failable one as you need to firstly free Kukajin without harming her, then hire her for 7 specific boss fights ensuring you pay her for her services after each one. Miss any of these steps and she will either disappear or become a boss. Refer to the A Trace of Venom guide for a complete breakdown of what’s required to successfully help Kukajin conclude her business which then unlocks A Trace of Venom.
